Hand Records is a UK based label formed in 2007 which specializes
in world, jazz and classical genres. We are committed to releasing
the very best in new and historical recordings. Releases for
2010 include artists such as the world-renowned cellist and
former Arditti member Rohan de Saram & Jonathan Mayer.
Issues on our historical imprint, First Hand Records Remasters,
include many previously unreleased HMV/EMI recordings including
Shura Cherkassky, the London Mozart Players directed by Harry
Blech, The Greg Alper Band, and the August 1956 Nixa-Westminster
recordings with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted
by Sir Adrian Boult. Most of these have been re-mastered from
the original analogue tapes.
We are always on the look out for long lost treasures to release,
particularly ones which have yet to make it on CD. If you
believe you have found one please let us know. |
